Birds

On that day, the members gathered solely for filming. Originally the costume was leading fashion inspired by Lithuanian traditional native dress, but, on the day before, we found out that the intended location was not available on the day we had planned to shoot, As we couldn’t find any alternative location with a similar image, we had to change our original theme. We developed an image based on the costumes owned by the stylist, and finally reached the idea of a god of birds. In Japanese culture we have Animism, the idea that non-human entities (animals, plants, and inanimate objects or phenomena) possess a spiritual essence.  I told the staff that the theme of the day was the god of birds which was guarding the castle, that is confident and cruel and doesn’t have same sense of right and wrong that human haves, and was shameless about that.
Firstly we needed to find a location for filming immediately. The image was a castle and a background picture with depth. As we were listening to the local member’s opinions we searched the internet and other sources to find the ideal location. The hair artist, a lady who joined on the day and worked for us for the first time, did a fantastic job exactly in the way we wanted it to be. The work of the make-up artist was as we wanted as well.
The model was very professional and she posed in a perfect way after we described to the model briefly what we were imagining.
